Smoking Wizard's Ultimate Grilled Poppers: Jalapeño, Cream Cheese, Shrimp & Bacon

Ingredients for Smoking Wizard's Spellbound Jalapeño Poppers:

- 12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 jalapeños, halved and seeds removed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup Smoking Wizard Pineapple Glaze - or - 1/4 cup Smoking Wizard Pineapple Habanero Glaze (optional for extra heat)
- 12 slices of bacon
- Smoking Wizard Cajun Rub
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Step 1: Preparation
Preheat your grill or smoker to medium-high heat (around 375°F to 400°F).
Step 2: Cream Cheese Mixture
In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the Pineapple Glaze. If you want an extra kick, add Pineapple Habanero Glaze and mix well.
Step 3: Stuff Jalapeños
Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture.
Step 4: Add Shrimp
Place one shrimp on top of the cream cheese mixture in each jalapeño half.
Step 5: Wrap in Bacon
Carefully wrap each shrimp and jalapeño combo with a slice of bacon, making sure it's snug but not too tight.
Step 6: Season
Lightly sprinkle the Smoking Wizard Cajun Rub on the outside of the bacon-wrapped jalapeño and shrimp.
Step 7: Grill
Place the wrapped jalapeños on the grill and close the lid. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp is cooked.
Step 8: Serve
